美国消费力的不竭来源:更高的收入和智能投资


尽管美联储加息的目的在于抑制消费和物价上涨,美国人民的消费行为却依然活跃。这背后的原因何在?答案是他们的收入增加了,同时,类似现金的投资也提供了自2001年以来的最高利率,可有效抵消不断上升的利息成本。


第一季度,美国家庭净值反弹至近乎历史最高水平的141万亿美元。这一惊人的数字并非偶然,背后是一系列因素的共同作用。


首先,美联储在新冠疫情期间的宽松货币政策起到了关键作用。这种政策使许多美国人得以减轻债务负担,为他们提供了再融资或获取低利率贷款的机会。换句话说,尽管借贷利率正在上升,但智慧的财务管理已经将这一影响最小化。


其次,美国公民的工资正在增长。这在一定程度上可以归功于新冠疫情期间的刺激经济政策资金,这些资金仍在继续为公民带来经济效益。


同时,我们也应当看到,虽然家庭每年的抵押贷款和其他贷款的利息支出增加了1,510亿美元,但他们从投资中获得的收入却增加了1,210亿美元。这意味着,尽管债务成本在上升,但智能投资所带来的回报几乎可以抵消这一增长。


综上所述,我们可以看出,美国消费力的持续并不仅仅是因为他们的收入增加,还包括他们如何将这些收入用于更高回报的投资,以及如何利用当前的金融环境来智能管理他们的财务。即使在利率上升的环境中,他们仍能找到方法来最大化其经济效益。这是一种复杂但有效的策略,其他国家的消费者和政策制定者都值得深思。
