近日,加州的过渡性幼儿园(TK)项目备受关注。该项目旨在为所有4岁儿童提供高质量的早期教育,预计将在2025-26学年全面推出。然而,从实施到效果评估,TK项目面临着一系列的挑战与机遇。

质量成为核心


加州的TK项目在质量上做了哪些努力,将直接决定该项目的成功与否。Policy Analysis for California Education的Benjamin Cottingham强调,TK需要成为一个基于游戏的、符合发展的课程,而不是幼儿园的第二年。这种理念突显了TK教育的核心价值——平衡学术和儿童的社会情感发展。


录取人数的增长与质量保障

在2022-23学年,由于COVID-19大流行的影响,TK的入学人数低于预期。但在广泛和创新的宣传推动下,包括社交媒体和口口相传在内的录取人数正在回升。这一趋势凸显了家长和社区对高质量早期教育的需求和认可。


教师招聘和培训
